Deputy Home / Service Manager - Learning Disabilities
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pa Job Type: Permanent
Location: Minster, KentAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Home Manager with extensive Learning Disabilities experience to join a well-established and greatly respected Care Home based in Kent.
This home accommodates 55 residents and is a modern, purpose build building close to the town centre and local public transport routes.
This organisation has an outstanding reputation for providing care and support to people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
You will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in all aspects of this service - providing leadership to the staff, ensuring essential standards of quality and safety are adhered to. Ensuring all staff levels are maintained at all times, making sure staff are regularly updating their training/refresher courses.
To help the manager plan the services rota and contribute to the resolution of staffing issues as required.
To have 24 hour management responsibility for the home in absence of the manager (standard hours are Monday to Friday but you will need to be flexible when required)
To ensure compliance with the essential Standards of Quality and Safety / CQC etc.
You MUST possess QCF 5 Diploma or NVQ 4 or equivalent.
