Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) Elderly / Dementia. Permanent days
Salary: £14.00 ph Job Type: Permanent
Location: Harlow, Essex
This home has 117 beds and is based very locally to Harlow town centre.
This Nursing home provides Quality Care in a Homely and Therapeutic environment with meaningful outcomes for each resident/patients/young person.

To ensure that skilled nursing care is given according to each resident’s individual Care Plan, and the Home’s policies and procedures
To participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of each resident’s care plans
To identify and report any change in condition to Nurse Care Manager or General Practitioner as appropriate
To delegate work to other members of staff, ensuring they are aware of any changes at the beginning of their shift
To assist the carers with the general care of the residents
To conduct comprehensive handover to subsequent nurse in charge
To participate in the orientation and training of new staff, and in the supervision and ongoing training of other staff, identifying needs for further training
To ensure the safe custody, control and administering of all drugs, following the homes policies and procedures
To communicate with relatives, professionals and other visitors to the home whilst observing confidentiality at all times
To show prospective resident’s/relatives around the home
To keep up to date with developments in nursing and current legislations & regulations and attending training as appropriate
To attend staff meetings
To report any complaints, accidents or incidents, complete the required forms and take necessary immediate action
To ensure adequate records are made and signed at the end of each shift before handing over responsibility
To assist with other duties as required
. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with current UKCC registration
· Experience in care of the elderly
· Professional, understanding, and patient with a warm personality
· Good interpersonal skills
· Reliable and punctual
· Team player, willing to train and develop colleagues
This is a role requiring day work only. Shifts are between 8am - 8pm and you will be working on a two week rota:
week 1) 3 x day shifts
week 2) 4 x day shifts
