Job Description

Deputy Manager is required to work in a nursing home for the elderly in Colchester.

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to be at the heart of a beautiful nursing home and support the Registered Manager in the running home for the elderly in Colchester. The home is part of a not-for-profit organisation and it was rated Good and Outstanding by the CQC during their most recent inspection. The charity also provides care for people in the community, in other residential homes and in sheltered accommodations and have been around for over two centuries.  

What are the requirements?

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager of an elderly care home/nursing home
  • Sound knowledge in CQC standards regulations
  • Willingness to undertake an NVQ/QCF Level 5 Qualification

The salary offered is £36,000 per annum and there is an attendance package in place.
