Job Description

Are you an experienced Manager with experience of running a supported living scheme for adults with learning disabilities? We are recruiting for a Scheme Manager based in Saffron Walden, Essex

We currently require a temp Scheme Manager for up to 2 months (possibly longer) for a supported living scheme for adults with learning disabilities based in Saffron Walden, Essex.  

It is full time (37 hours per week) and the annual salary is £27,488 per annum.

This service  is a 24-hour supported living scheme for adults with learning disabilities. We need a manager who will lead a small team to embed their person-centred and positive behaviour support (PBS) approaches, to ensure their customers live an independent, active, quality lifestyle.

 You will need to have:

  • Previous experience managing supported living services with a good understanding of learning disabilities and positive behaviour support
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated experience of motivating, managing and developing staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build relationships and work in partnership with relevant stakeholders
  • A flexible and positive approach to work with excellent organisational skills
  • Experience and knowledge of Safeguarding, lone working and health and safety requirement
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
