Job Description

Support Worker required in Southend to look after younger adults in supported living schemes.

ENS Recruitment is seeking a Support Worker to assist younger adults in supported living units. You will provide assistance with all aspects of the service users' daily lives.

We are assisting a local provider in the recruitment of a Support Worker, the role offers a permanent contract of 40 hours per week and a chance to do sleep ins, with which you will earn up to £23,000 a year.

You will be supporting your clients in socializing, maintaining and developing relationships and ensuring their general health and wellbeing is maintained. This will involve regular trips in the community.

Flexibility to work on a rota basis is essential, this will involve a combination of early, late, some weekend and sleep in shifts - working 5 days out of 7.

What are the requirements?

  • Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis and flexibility to support the service users with outings to the community
  • Experience in providing service users with additional needs, such as personal care
