Job Description

ENS Recruitment is now recruiting a Café Officer to work in a unique coffee shop in Central London to support adults with learning difficulties.

ENS Recruitment is working with a charity organisation and is assisting with the recruitment of a Café Officer/Job Coach to work in a unique café in Central London that provides the necessary environment to adults with learning difficulties to gain work experience.

The role of the Café Officer is to assist the manager with general food preparation tasks and to support and coach employment trainees to gain experience and develop employment skills.

This is a very rare and unique opportunity for those who are seeking full-time permanent employment and a career within the health and social care industry.

Main requirements:

  • Flexibility with the working hours as there will be a combination of early and late shifts
  • Minimum 6 months experience in supporting adults with learning difficulties in a regulated environment
  • Previous food preparation experience (ideally in a restaurant or coffee shop)
  • NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
  • Food and Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
  • Knowledge of adults safeguarding policies and procedures
