Are you an experienced Deputy Manager with experience in elderly care seeking a new challenge ? Or are you currently a team leader seeking a step up to Deputy Home Manager role? 26 bed care home based in Westcliff are recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager..

 

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager who is passionate about the quality of care and support that you provide to not only your residents but also your staff? Do you thrive on being the best at what you do and take pride in your standards of support to the Home Manager?  

We are recruiting for a 26-bedded elderly care home based in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. The home is warm and homely, within a very friendly and family-like environment. They have recently been awarded a GOOD CQC rating. You will be working with a great team of staff who also have high standards and are valuable to the Home’s homely environment. The Home is situated in a quiet residential area with a beautiful outdoor garden and a quirky indoor garden too.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting the Home Manager to create and uphold an open, positive and caring culture
  • Assisting the Home Manager in the day to day running of the Home and ensuring good standards of care and clinical practice to ensure service users receive appropriate care and interventions that respond to their needs
  • Assisting with the of the administration, care and people management functions of catering, housekeeping , maintenance and all operations within the Home
  • To ensure through training, auditing, surveys and monitoring that all aspects of the service meet agreed and required quality standards with the Home Manager
  • To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
  • Share in the development of strategic plans
  • To assist with the recruitment of staff for the Home

About you:

  • You will need to be Level 3 qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or team leader within a similar size care home (or larger) in elderly care
  • Experienced with CQC compliance and audits

Salary range £19,000 - £22,500 per annum

Working a 40 hour week.
