Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Resource Co-ordinator to work closely with the Registered Manager, Team Leaders and Deputies in order to ensure that rosters and the resource allocation of staff at their residential care homes are effectively managed.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Resource Co-ordinator to work closely with the Registered Manager, Team Leaders and Deputies in order to ensure that rosters and the resource allocation of staff at their residential care homes are effectively managed. You will be based between residential services in the Southend on Sea, Essex areas to ensure staffing levels meet the needs of the services at all times.

You will be responsible for ensuring that outstanding training is booked and that training records are regularly updated and monitored for all staff to ensure that they are compliant with CQC mandatory requirements and staff receive any specialist training that they require to carry out their role safely and effectively.  To ensure that probation review meetings are booked for all new starters during their induction period in accordance with Company policy.

To provide an effective and efficient resource allocation and co-ordination across the services, plus administration support to the Registered Manager, Deputy Managers and Team Leaders.

To liaise with payroll and provide appropriate documentation to ensure that "bank" workers are paid for the shifts that they work and be the point  of contact for any payroll queries.

To receive requests from staff regarding annual leave/lieu days/off duty requests, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated and shifts covered. Supporting as required with induction of staff and shadowing requirements.

To receive telephone enquiries regarding resource allocation and liaise between the callers and team members, recording telephone messages and passing these to appropriate team members. 

To be familiar CQC regulations, GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

8.30am-4.30pm or 9-5pm Monday to Friday. Salary £20k + benefits. Car owner required.
