Job Description

ENS are currently looking for passionate Support Workers with previous care experience to support one of our clients in Benfleet, Essex. You will be assisting them with their personal care and accessing the community, doing the things they love.

As a member of the ENS team you will play an integral role in the everyday lives of the learning disability clients we support in the community. You will work to ensure that each individual whose life you touch is reaching his/her potential. Right now we are looking for a support worker who is patient and caring to support a man with learning disabilities who needs help accessing the community in Benfleet. He enjoys bowling and bingo and participating in the program Sport for Confidence. Your role would be to drive the client and assist him to join in with all of the activities that he loves.

Please don’t delay, come register, enjoy a cup of tea and meet Anna who can tell you more about the role. We are based on Hamlet Court Road, (the office with the big purple sign) just a little way up from the train station. If you’re driving, it’s easy with 2 hours free parking.

Day/night rates range between £9.00 - £9.50 per hour.


What does the role look like?

Your job will include:

  • Accompanying clients to social activities and appointments
  • Building supportive, trusting relationships
  • Working proactively with other members of the team and being a noble team player
  • Being a good verbal and written communicator
  • Supporting with meal preparation, personal care and household activities

Do I need experience?

We would prefer 6 months’ experience but if you believe you have squeezed 6 months’ experience into 3, come and talk to us! Mostly you need to have a big heart and the ability to really care about the people you will be supporting.
