Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Manager for two short-break services for adults with learning difficulties in Newham.

ENS Recruitment is working with a charity organisation with the recruitment of a Registered Manager for two small short-break stepdown services in Newham, East of London. The services provide care for adults with a learning difficulty, physical disability, complex needs who might show behaviours that challenge.

Our client has over 25 years’ experience in providing care to adults with learning difficulties, mental health needs and for the elderly with dementia in various types of services including outreach, day centres, and respite services as well as residential homes.

As the Registered Manager you will run services that were rated Outstanding/Good by the Care Quality Commission during their most recent inspection.

What are the requirements?

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, preferably experience with running a short-break service
  • NVQ 5 in Health and Social Care
  • BILD Qualification (preferred)

  • The salary offered is £37,000 per annum, £1,000 bonus is offered if you have a BILD Qualification (Positive Behaviour Support)
