Job Description

ENS are looking for highly experienced Support Workers for one of our Specialist clients in Rochford.

The ENS Care and Support team are recruiting clinically experienced Support Workers who are patient and caring, to support a man with Autism who needs help accessing the community in Rochford. Support Workers will need to be empathetic to his emotional wellbeing, and proactively engage with his humour and positivity. The ideal candidate will be clinically trained but if you are interested and need clinical training, we can offer free specialist training which will prepare you to support with confidence.

Please don’t delay, come register, enjoy a cup of tea and meet Anna who can tell you more about the role. We are based on Hamlet Court Road, (the office with the big purple sign) just a little way up from the train station. If you’re driving, it’s easy with 2 hours free parking.

The pay rate ranges from £10.00-£12.00

What does the role look like?

Your job will include:

  • Accompanying the client to social activities and appointments
  • Enabling the client to become more independent
  • Building a supportive, trusting relationship
  • Working proactively with other members of the team and being a team player
  • Being a good verbal and written communicator
  • Supporting with meal preparation, personal care and household activities

Do I need experience?

We would prefer 6 months’ experience but if you believe you have squeezed 6 months’ experience into 3, come and talk to us! Mostly you need to have a big heart and the ability to really care about the person you will be supporting.
