Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Support Worker to look after young adults with learning difficulties in Hadleigh.

ENS Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Support Worker who has experience in supporting younger adults with a learning difficulty. We are assisting a client that owns 3 supported living services for younger adults between the ages of 18-26, received Good reports from the CQC and have a good reputation with local commissioners. The role is full-time permanent, based in Hadleigh.

The role of the Support Worker is full-time permanent, and the working hours will include weekend, evening, and sleep-in shifts (2x sleep-ins per week). The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting young adults with a learning disability and will be fully flexible to work on a rota basis.

As the Support Worker, your main aim is to encourage the tenants to live as independently as possible, helping them to keep their tenancy, supporting them to build and maintain relationships and helping them to improve and gain new life skills.

What are the requirements?

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker for adults with learning difficulties
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis as shifts will include weekend, evening and sleep-in shifts
