Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Manager to run a respite service for 6 adults with learning disabilities, in Erith.

Registered Manager is required in Erith for a respite service for 6 adults with learning difficulties. The role is open due to internal promotion.

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation with over 25 years’ expertise in providing care and support for adults with learning difficulties, mental health needs, and for the elderly and they offer a wide range of specialist services to vulnerable people.

What are the requirements?

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager, ideally in a short break service or sheltered accommodation
  • Experience in supervising, monitoring, training and mentoring care staff
  • Experience in assessment of service users
  • Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience in business development would be ideal, however, this is not essential

What will you get in return?

  • The salary offered is £32,000 per annum; working 38 hours per week
