Job Description

ENS Recruitment is looking to recruit a Reablement Assistant to work in Southend on Sea area.

ENS Recruitment is currently working with a local provider that supports service users with a variety of diagnosis.

My client has been growing over the past few years and they have plans to develop their services further. They currently have a few Residential Homes supporting elderly people, a Day Centre for people with learning disabilities, Supported Living units as well as an Outreach Service supporting people with long term clinical needs as well as short term rehabilitation.

We are recruiting Reablemet Assistants/Domiciliary Carers to work in the community with people who need support to live independently.

Main requirements for the role will be:

  • To support the clients with their everyday personal skills such as eating, dressing, washing and hygiene. Some hands on work might be required though the emphasis is on independence
  • Using appropriate moving and handling techniques
  • To enable service users to manage their own medication
  • To work as part of multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in working within a similar environment
  • Driver with access to a car for work

My client is offering a permanent contract of 30 hours a week, free DBS, free uniform and various benefits.
