Earlier in the year, we put out a survey to all of our agency workers; we wanted to know what you thought about ENS, what we were doing well and what we could be doing better. Here’s how we’ve already started making ENS a better place to work by taking on YOUR feedback, and what we aim to do to improve ENS in future.

What we are doing well

The recent survey had plenty of positive points; from flexibility on the job, to the friendly and professional consultants, there were a number of popular positive points that we will be continuing to improve. For example, we will be continuing to offer more flexible roles as time progresses, because we know you find a lot of value in them.

The inclusion of training on the role was also another popular point; our high-quality training will continue to be an integral part of ENS, but make sure to keep an eye on social media for any exciting training offers and discounts, as we want to make it accessible to everyone as possible!

What we have already improved

We’re committed to creating the very best company for agency staff to work for, and to do that, we wanted to know what needed improving. We listened to your feedback on the survey; here’s how we’ve already started making improvements.

One of the popular topics for consideration was pay rates, however after listening to your feedback, we recently increased the hourly rate for a considerable portion of our agency workers. We aim to increase the pay for all of our agency workers soon.

Another thing we’ve already improved is the distance to the office, as 2018 has seen the opening of 2 brand-new remote offices, one located in Croydon and once located in Maidstone, allowing us to operate in a larger area. These offices are headed up by our Regional Manager and two resourcers, and can be used as a place to liaise with the team and deliver documents. We hope to expand in to more areas in the future.

We continue to take strides in the right direction, and are really excited about the future of ENS! Stay tuned to ENS’ social media pages for regular ENS updates, jobs, industry news and competitions!

What people are saying about ENS

I feel I would like to give a positive review on working for ENS in any care capacity. I joined at the start of December 2015 and have been offered enough work to fit around my own needs and other commitments. The work has been varied and I received good information prior to the visit. The excellent dedicated back office support staff and they clearly understand their clients’ needs which are aligned to the qualities of the Support Workers, this helps builds the relationship.

While there is a need for help at short notice to meet the company needs I have been further impressed to have good notice of most of the work intended. My role has been largely Community Support but I have worked with our Residential team and clearly there is plentiful work again with helpful support.

In my dealings with the company I have found the ENS team to be helpful and approachable and need to reiterate how impressed I have been. Thank you to all involved.

Graeme
